Sorry if my post upset you. (F) has been the standard for forfeit as long as I've been playing tournament backgammon, so I think my confusion is understandable. And I made no proclamations -- I only asked questions. I can't see how that's inappropriate.

Not sure about zero confusion on the part of the ratings team. When I got the explanation, I emailed Patrick and got the following response:

thanks, I thought that is was a Forfeit. I will alert my Ratings Team
