Thanks for posting this controversial result at bgonline, Chris! I just saw this position here and now for the first time, so this is my kneejerk reaction. (I'm not on Facebook or other social media, so I can't see other discussions.)

First, I can't resonate with "Basic analysis says that you shouldn't play 13/6..." Indeed that play would be my first inclination, and I would need a much better reason than "...leaving a bad 61 next time" to talk myself out of it.

If you'll forgive me for being frank, the initial comments posted look more like a desperate attempt to explain at least part of XG's huge rollout support for 6/3 5/1. Even if one can somehow justify that an inside move dominates 13/6 (or even 8/5 8/4) to such an extent, it defies basic logic that 6/3 5/1 would crush other decent inside moves. To my mind, this is obviously a bug, no matter how many bots might agree with each other.

Sorry, I'm not usually so opinionated, but that's my two cents. I doubt I have said anything helpful to solving the mystery, but maybe I'll have a chance to contribute something more meaningful later.
