Bilbao scoring incentives risk taking, which naturally leads to more mistakes and decisive games.

A 6-game Bilbao classical series would result in a draw less frequently than a regular 6-game classical series; there would be less need to decide the match with rapid/blitz.

Again though, the tiebreak format is a secondary issue. The primary point is that the format of the main stage should encourage more risk taking and decisive games.
