My example pertains ONLY to 25% positions in early games of a long match, which many players instantly assume is a take. In fact, in a 13 point match, it's a drop at every 13a score from 13a 13a to 13a 6a, regardless of how you got to the score. For example, if you're backgammoned with the cube on 2 in the first game of a 13 point match (resulting in 13a 7a) and the 25% position comes up in the next game, it's a drop. Many players would incorrectly take.
