Ok, I got it from Dimitry's proof, trailing by 2 is exactly twice as bad as by 1, sounds logic when no cube and no gammon. Now going back to regular bg, why should be more than twice worse (based on the MET) to let the opponent go 2-0 (even number) in a 13p match ? From 1-0 is possible to win 12p if a backgammon occurs and the cube goes to 4, same as if 2-0.
Looking at the takes when trailer is at 0, at 0-8 and 0-10 is a take, it sounds logic again avoiding the opponent to go 4 away.
