17/16 has to be stronger. More shots at the second blot and easier to secure. That's seems much better than 4/3 for both playing on for the gammon if White dances and when Whit enters - to have stronger threat of hitting/securing to create a strong recube opportunity (we probably can cash after she enters on the ace and maybe close to cash if she enters at the anchor). For example, after 4/3 I wouldn't be very comfortable with recubing (and would be comfortable with taking as White for sure).
