TDAC overstepping once again

Ben, there are no pitchforks.
I asked a well thought out question that deserves a well thought out reply. This all smacks of insider trading.
The unfairness is beyond belief. Did they (the TDs who had the conversations) even consider during all these "conversations" that some other tournament might have wanted that slot since WAY back when Jeb gave it up? Was there any discussion about the greater good of the larger BG community or just for their own good, which is typical. I bet no thought was given to the other tournaments near Labor Day weekend that could be negatively affected by the Viking Classic moving to this new spot.I understand your need to defend "this", whatever "this" is, but to me it appears that the TDAC is acting like they run the BG world once again.
I think the new chair or head of this TDAC needs to step down after this bit of news. It is extremely improper, or as we say in BG, it is a blunder. She is clearly only in it for herself.
You assume that no other TD would like that weekend. Did they ask? no, they snatched. It was acquired in a very cunning and conniving way. I am not making waves for no apparent reason, clearly I have no horse in this race. But, I know that at least 1 or 2 TDs would have loved that slot, no matter where their tournament falls in the year. It was never offered to them, because a decision was made via this illicit insider trading scheme.
Maybe the TDAC should just take over for the USBGF?
Why not? they put up a fuss every time the USBGF tries to set some standards. I did not realize the TDAC were a bunch of TDs only working for themselves, not really for the greater good of all of the ABT Tournament Directors. How many of the TDAC are actually on the board of the USBGF? It appears the TDAC is acting like a shadow board, making decisions on their own.M
One last thing...
I cannot figure out what you mean by this, please explain.
"It's more likely that an organizer in the Jan-June time frame would have to take it over next year anyways."
