In Response To: TDAC overstepping once again (MishyPoo)

So a few people have messaged me to ask about this that I thought I would respond.

There is nothing secret or underhanded going on with the date change. Three tournaments, including the Viking Classic (my tournament), were all planning on running in September. The cancelation of Silicon Valley, allowed us to spread out a bit. As far as process there were six TDs/organisers, including one USBGF board member and the president that were included in the communications. We all worked it out quite peacefully.

I don't believe that any TD is upset by the change, at least not that I have heard of. The tournaments involved, are all relatively new to the circuit and were struggling to find our place on the calendar. From an organizer standpoint, getting a date that works both with a local hotel and the BG calendar is one of the biggest challenges. It was never suggested that we should add back a fourth tournament to the month of Sept as that would make it near impossible to have reasonable spacing.
