Ruling questions from Cyprus

Based on EUBGF (WBGF these days) rules, the first situation is a take.
The rules state that "either the verbal act or the physical act on their own will be interpreted as a take or a pass as appropriate".
The physical act is defined as "moving the doubling cube to their side of the board".
Imho, walking around during the course of a game is poor etiquette, if not explicitly addressed in the WBGF rules. Standing still by the table while playing the game is another case, of course.
The Cyprus tournament invitation says "International backgammon rules will apply". I don't know whether they mean WBGF rules, but they could...
