First situation seems like take to me depending on rule set. USBGF rules "Absent other evidence of intent, a take or pass occurs when the cube is placed down outside the playing field." Player A must have thought it was a clear pass to make an issue of it.

The walking around is rude unless he does it while his clock is running as well. We used to have a local player that did a lot of sports betting stand up and watch TV during matches. This was around the time that we implemented clocks preferred in local tourneys and this particular player is why I started always bringing a clock.
