I would recomend purchasing a small camera and not to worry about plugging it into your computer when you are filming. This allows you to NOT have to be next to a wall plug.. or have your computer down in the playing room.

If you count the computer, the logitech set-up is not more convenient that the old school digital video video camera.

With a Yi action, a bracket like the one you pointed out.. and a mini.. "selfie retractable" pole.. you can get the yi action completely over the board.

The link you show for the bracket does work.. you just need another short adapter that will screw onto the end of it.. the will be the 90 degree angle to go over the board.

I have been using multiple compact setup.. I bring about 3 to each tourney I go to.. for others to use..

it all fits into a small backpack with all my cloths/ stuff for the long weekend.
