Outstanding analysis, as usual. I worked on this problem quite a bit and was proud of myself for thinking I had solved it in four weighings, but I had not considered the possibility of cL>cL or cH>cH. Once again, your analysis is superb. Thanks! I agree it can not be done in four weighings unless the conditions are changed and the coins can only be heavy or light by a set amount.
