42 to play vs. a 1/2 backgame

I make the 4 as well. Make an inner board and blocking point against 2 deep anchors. Expose to only 1 direct shot. The anchor that's aiming the shot is her front anchor. The number that hits is duplicated. This is sooo strong and I've been dinged so many times for not making such plays, that I almost auto-play it nowadays.

I guess there's a lot pros for 2 down, too. White's backgame has terrible timing, her prime is still standing and rating to improve. She'd like to hit asap. Why pay now? But I feel we too often won't manage to fill in the gaps and might expose during bear-in when White's prime might still be standing.

I'd certainly pay now by making the 4 here.
