CPU question

Clock for clock, I believe that the Q9300 is faster than the Q6700. I am not sure why; it may have to do with the SSE4 instruction set. Also, the Q9300 consumes less power and generates less heat than the Q6700.

On the other hand, the Q6700 will clock at a higher speed than the Q9300 and has more L2 cache, which will probably impact rollouts.

In terms of cost effectiveness I would personally go with a Q6600 (G0) at this point.
