Okay, USBGF....What is the remedy?

There is a tremendous bias introduced if by "everytime something like this happens" you mean when a lot of time has run off instead of meaning when the clock has not been hit. Those latter instances just aren't publicized or easily noticed. But look for it. You would see a lot of times an opponent indicating that clock should be hit.

I remember one time my opponent doubled and I thought about the take and didn't notice for a while that the clock had not been hit. I wonder if anyone watching would have found it "interesting" and not noticed the many times that I motioned to the clock in that situation. My estimate is about 100 - 1 ratio.
