The made 2pt drives the choices here. Now the stripped 8pt isn’t doing much, so switch it to the 4 – the stronger point here by far.

Then the question becomes: With the other side still stuck on the 24 with 2 checkers, is it worth making the 7 pt at the cost of the 9 and the 11? Not sure – but Blue will often be breaking either the 9 or the 11 on his next roll anyway if he makes the 9pt on this roll instead of the 7. So the 7Pt – the play that blocks White’s two checkers on the 24 point and also leaves two spares for Blue on the mid -- seems like the right idea for the last two 4s.
