Ahh, truncated 4-ply at 10, then finished with weaker settings for that one. Oh well - they say in the intro book not all plays were run on the same settings, they used judgement where they were skeptical of the results and sometimes used stronger settings. Said are confident they have the right plays. Can't remember what was said about absolute equities vs play ranking.

The ones in the article happen to be similar to the settings I use when just running quick and dirty 'full' rollouts with gnu (with XG I just use the defaults for quick and dirty) - 12 ply at 2-ply play and cube, then I finish with 1-ply play and cube.
