I've been playing 15 point matches against top players lately for a relatively low stake. I was "Half-decent" here and had nailed a 16 from the bar, hitting Grandmaster's 7-point blot. He fanned and I considered the cube. My first, immediate thought was actually that I was supposed to try and play on. I quickly discarded this after surveying the board and remembering a rule of Stick's saying "it's hard for it to be a pass with two guys stuck behind a 5 prime". So, I figured it was almost certainly a cube, and the question was more on GM's end.
I got a take and was pretty happy about it. Ended up winning a lucky gammon to get back in the match (and went on to win). Even more impressive is that GM played under 3 PR in spite of this take!
