The object of a holding game is the OPPONENT's POINT It is being HELD from splitting= The object of a containment game is a single or more checkers (not held as a point) trying to escape contact and win the race. https://svilo.com/Endgame-cover.jpg If we were trying to keep the checker on the bar longer - it would be a priming game. If we are trying to make (stay or go) less efficient it is a containment game. Here we should play containmet game and breaking the TWOPOINT is more efficient because the mean entry to the 2 is less than 6 points while slotting the 5 point would give him a mean entry on the 5 - about 9 points. So this is a containment game - not priming. https://svilo.com/Endgame-cover.jpg From my study of ENDGAME based on magriel's chapters 23, 24, 25
