How do you define a containment game?

I should have provided some more context. I plan in the autum/winter to breed a new AI, long long overdue, the last one is from 2016.
I took the opportunity to rethink some stuff and I thought: make use of the knowledge and intelligence of the community to get some fresh ideas.
At Tim: contact was implied (because I test for running game before I test for containment) but should be mentioned for completeness.
I need a fast and reasonable function to recognize containment situations. It doesn't need to be perfect, just reasonable. I trust in the NN to learn, but it helps them to make things easy.
Thanks for the examples so far, I'll try to code a function at the weekend.
BTW today I use
- running game
- crashed (as in GnuBG)
- backgame
- containment
- prime vs prime
- all the rest contact
as nets. If someone has more ideas: I looking forward for suggestions.
