I agree. I have plenty of positions that I could post, but often I get no responses, and not even that many views.

That said, even in the heyday of BGO, serious discussion of positions was one of the least popular topics. Most popular, of course, were controversies and scandals that had almost nothing to do with the game of backgammon per se. So if you really want to drive traffic to this site, the best tactic is probably to post a long, bitter, and unwarranted personal attack on a well-known person. :-)

I recall the OLM as being pretty popular. Although I personally didn't participate in the OLM, I thought it was a good thing. Getting an OLM started still suffers from a chicken-an-egg problem, but it could be worth a try.
