I also picked that play.

Still, the backstop 5 pips away from the 3 isn't bad, it has solid retention value. But I prefer trying to fill in the board when he's on the bar. My worry is if we get a 4 to split and still have that loose one on the 8 it could go south. But even if we split it may be an attacking asset, and we have the better board. I prefer your play hit and 8/5.

The other one I seriously considered was 4/1*. Since it's different. But, it's got to be way too much without any direct covers. If our timing was much worse, and the better board... It did jump out at me, there is another blot over there and if he flunks and we split with a four, game over. But I chicken out, looks far too risky.
