I was also hoping they would add an option (maybe a toggle in settings?) to append or prepend the Snowie error rate for each analysed match to the filename (for ease of visibility, sorting to sub-folders by error rate etc.) but maybe that will be an option in a later version

That would be a pretty specific addition to a user interface that is already rather complex. Adding the hour, on the other hand, doesn't require anything from the user and corrects a clear shortcoming.

If, at some point, the matches were saved in a database rather than individual files, then the error rate would be one of the sensible selection criteria. But in the current situation what you suggest seems to me a bit over the top.
