Interesting article.

Do you have any ideas for how we can retain the 'purity' of traditional competitive backgammon in our future tournament rooms, chouettes etc?

I had thought about Faraday cages, intensive body searches, EM scanners, signal jammers and suchlike but I think they could be perceived as intrusive, objectionable, financially and/or physically impractical, as well as potentially detrimental to the functionality of healthcare or other legitimate devices.

In addition, even if some are deployed, bad actors can probably devise more creative attack vectors to bypass these security measures.
