Kazaross-Sax Undefeated Bracket Final -- Great Cube Sequence

My initial double is very pushy although Steve's home board is flawed and he could roll an awkward shot, especially from the bar. OTB I felt I had an optional double and cubed hoping to G him. However, I won't be surprised if it rolls out as ND.
Steve's recube is clear to me, but I really couldn't pass this as shot potential seems high to me and I can often run off the G.
I felt my decision to recube prior to hitting him with the 31 was very close. 24 shots, but only 4 hit and cover. However, hit/dance is a huge market loss, and I was sure that hit, followed by his non leaping ace would be a nice cube from the roof, a factor that contributed to me deciding to roll. OTB I think I underestimated my chances to lose a match ending G if I miss this shot and that lead to me deciding to roll.
Steve passed almost instantly when I recubed for match, after hitting me with the 21, and that surprised me since I thought he'd at least think a bit to see if he has more than the 25-26% needed to take. With 4 of my checkers that far back and one dancing 1/4 of the time right away, I suspect he may have enough to take.
