Anchor or hit?

Anchors are seductive to me. They link up vulnerable blots, and they tend to lead to positions that are easier for humans to understand and play out -- at least in the short term. Also, I dislike hitting loose behind my opponent's advanced anchor in my inner board. On the other hand, the value of my 22-pt. anchor will immediately erode if my opponent makes her 9 pt on the next shake with any of 14 numbers (I'm not counting 3-1), and I'll still have a 5-checker tree on my 6 point if I choose to anchor with this 3-2, so I guess I'll hit, contrary to my preferred style.
