Choice 2 grants a 4-2 as the first roll in whatever game the player wants, and also confers the privilege of playing first. Choice 1 gives the player a 3-1 to start, but the opponent is 50-50 to have already won, and played, the opening roll. IMO, no need to take this any further: Choice 2 is, on average, clearly best.
