Some insights from MC (long)

First off, congratulations for a great showing (again) in the WC. Secondly, thanks for sharing your experiences both on GV and here on this forum. Those of us who can't seem to get over all the impediments to make it to the MCWC are always starved for news, etc. of the big event.
From talking quite a bit with Frank Frigo and also some with Neil, it sounds to me like there are questionable (and in some cases much stronger word should apply) actions by a minority of players at the MCWC over the years. We in the US are not used to that and I suspect it's uncommon in most of Europe (but you guys over there can tell us whether or not that is true). As a result, the players who are accustomed to civil opponents are at a disadvantage when these 'shenanigans' occur.
We all (well, at least those who have attended and seen such actions first hand) need to communicate to Howard just how we feel about this. Of course Howard has played a lot in the MCWC as well as other tournaments in Europe so he shouldn't be surprised. OTOH, as Neil points out, Howard is not one who typically allows such marginal actions at his tournaments so I think he will be very attentive to the opinions of the MCWC players.
A new directorship means now is the time to make other improvements, too.
