I endorse all of your recommendations. but Howard is only the messenger, albeit an influencial one. The decision maker for MC is now Patti Rubin, who is the 'owner' of the tournament. I know Patti for many years and I do think she is open to suggestions, so comments should go to her as well as Howard.

In so far as other cities are concerned, this would impact on Patti negatively as her deal undoubtably is to fill the Fairmont Hotel rooms each July.
