Usually having one checker m/l hemmed in is more important than being concerned with getting one (more?) sent back, particularly when gammons don't matter. With 10 in the zone and opp having many to get home, if gammons did matter then 1*(2) would have more going for it.

Fortunately our 18-pt will give us long term hitting chances. Meanwhile the spares on the 4- and 5-pts look like better assets for priming. Add in the fact that our 20-pt checker seems like more of a liability (if kept there) than an asset.

I would play 20/11.
