I've gone back and forth on this one multiple times. A pessimist makes the 22-pt and an optimist the 3-pt.

Timing is always an issue in PvP games. Looking at White's high doubles (all of which hurt timing, admittedly, regardless of play choice), 66 doesn't play favorites much, 55 and 44 are better for White if we don't anchor and 33 is better if we do anchor. So slight edge to anchoring (so far).

The blot on our 8-pt might play a role here. If we anchor are we forced to pick it up? Well, initially I thought so, but what about anchoring with 4/3? Half of White's rolls hit either that blot or the one we leave on the 8-pt, but the other half...? We might have our cake and eat it, too. (Stick, did that sound better in the (original) French because it always seems kinda illogical in English.)

If we settle for the anchor, at least for now opp has both a better prime and a better homeboard. I can't quite bring myself to slot here and 8/7 is hard to accept so I'm going with aggressive option #2 and make the 4-pt.
