Position of the Day 09-02-25 - Easy?

OtB I'm sure I'd play 23/18, 6/5. The hint in the title plus the fact that most if not all PoDs have non-intuitive solutions lead me to wonder if 13/8, 6/5 is the better play.

How do we like our anchor? Not so much since opp owns the point 6-away from it. The 3rd back checker makes it a lot easier to upgrade the anchor and there are several places (and rolls) that could allow that to happen.

If I were taking some kind of quiz and QF was in play I'd likely go with 13/8, 6/5 but as hinted above I like to treat problems as OtB decisions. Hopefully I learn more getting them wrong because I sure get a lot more opportunities that way. :)
