White's takepoint (if s/he can't win a gammon) is ~22.5% GWC. Blue would like to win an undoubled gammon but White's anchor on his/her 20-pt makes that difficult (but far from impossible).

What's the phone number for QF? Hard for me to accept that hitting two is wrong here.

OtB I'd hit two and make the 4-pt. Hitting two and making the 2-pt leaves better builder distribution but much worse structure (2-pt and 8-pt six apart). Giving up the midpoint is possible as is 20/16(2). Is there another worthwhile candidate I'm missing?

I'll stick with the 'obvious' 21*, 9*, 4(2).
