I see three candidate plays: run one back checker to safety (22/13), slot the 4-pt (13/4), and slot two inner board points (8/2, 8/5).

Running still leaves a four point pipcount deficit (counting White -4 pips for being on roll). It also opens up the back checker to be attacked. That's out.

Of the two slotting plays, compared to 13/4 the double slot starts the best remaining homeboard point and keeps builders reasonably placed, at the expense of the blot on the lame 2-pt. I'm giving that a net edge.
