DQ 10: Safety first?

Hitting loose 8/2* still leaves an awkward deuce. 8/6 looks quite stiff. 13/11 leaves a triple shot. 11/9 gives up a valuable point and still leaves a double shot plus. 6/4 leaves 23 shots and a lot of cleanup, but at least it gives up neither structure nor flexibility.
OK, let's look at non-hitting plays, all of which gives White full freedom to play her next roll. 13/11, 13/7 offers White *only* 15 shots. 13/11, 13/5 OTOH gets hit 18 times (34 being a double hit) while dropping the points-made count.
I'm narrowing my choices down to 8/2*,6/4 and 8/2*,8/6. Looking at these two, 8/6 just feels too sterile, with all remaining spares (four of them) now on the 6-pt. So I'm left with:
8/2*, 6/4.
