Making the 3-pt is an option, but it seems there are two other candidates which offer something possibly more attractive here. I see two off the mid but that is not only too passive but the builder on the 10-pt isn't well placed given it's 6-away from the already made 4-pt. So now we're quickly down to:
20/12* -- tries for the forward game.
13/5 -- two-way backgame ploy. (I recall this term from one of the World Cup discussions/lectures from the 1990's, used by Joe Sylvester.) Why 'two way'? If opp doesn't hit you've greased the forward path and if she does hit you're getting timing for the backgame.
The reason 20/12* gives me pause is that it keeps the anchor that is most efficiently blocked while giving up the one that isn't. This typically isn't good for shifting into a forward game.
Still, transitioning from backward to forward is so often right that I'm choosing this more direct path.
20/12*.
