This time limit vs ABT time limit

The 2.5/15 is fine when there are only two good lengthed matches to play in a day or 3 moderate length ones.

But for most ABT events we sometimes play 5 11's on the first day, and 4 is almost a given. I have also played 6 9's before and recall one time playing 3 11's and 3 9's !!

Thus we must have the faster 2/12 for ABT events.

Note to directors and staff, there's close to too much BG the first day, and many of you seem to want to rush to end the event rather early on Sunday. I will suggest speeding up the Calcutta and doing the public draw during the Calcutta or even prior (those who want to watch the draw can wake up early).

So what if the draw is posted during or prior to the Calcutta ? There's so much parity in BG nowadays that your draw makes considerably less difference than it did a decade or two ago.
