Even though White's can't play a true backgame with this crunched board, Blue still doesn't want opp to make that second anchor. So I'm using at least one of those dice to hit loose there. So "do I cover now?" is the next question.

5/2* with 22/20* not only gets White off Blue's 2-pt but now leaves Blue upcoming 3's and 4's to pick up the 5th White checker. Sort of a "have your cake and eat it, too" outcome as the GP.

5/2*, 22/20*.

P.S. Did Blue miss a recube somewhere along the line? Clearly Too Good before this roll, but seems like a lot happened along the road to get White into such a lousy position.
