How important is making the 9-pt? That concern is gnawing at me. If that is part of the solution then 22/18(2) is an option to finish the play, as is 22/18 with 13/9 (i.e. the last checker on the midpt scooting off of there).

How crazy is 13/9(2) with 22/14?? Not only is White concerned about her blot on the acept but hitting off her stripped midpt carries danger, too. 13/9(2) with 18/14(2) strands the back checkers so doesn't feel right. Although Blue still trails the race, it's close enough that timing needs to be kept in mind.

Finally, if making the 9-pt isn't part of this then I guess 22/14(2) and 22/10, 13/9 are contenders.

White has to play so I'm making the 'imaginitive' 22/14, 13/9(2) move so as to keep a presence in all quadrants while getting in position to make another point my my outfield. At least if that's right I've kept it out of Stick's proposed book on plays where the correct move is mentioned by no one. I'm willing to risk choosing a whopper to make his life more difficult.
