Position of the Day 04-10-26 - Quiet or Loud

After that *timing* lesson from a couple days ago I hope I don't over-correct.

Is this one of those positions where trying to save a gammon with some seemingly safe play just gets you gammoned (or backgammoned) anyway, while taking away winning chances? 23(2) is a safe play,... for now.

25/23, 6/5* is a tweener, but ugly. If I'm going to hit it's going to be from the heavy barpt. There are a few other plays like 25/23, 7/6, but I'm not seeing enough gain from those. "Bull by the horns":

25/24, 7/5*.
