Some obserations:
Blue's 15 checkers -- not in great position for the bearin, particularly with this roll.
White's 15 checkers -- A) blot on her 4-pt awaiting coverage; B) checkers spread throughout the outfield wanting to get closer to home (to minimize gammon losses).
All those together argue for hitting 7/1*. But what's the finish? 7/2 might minimize the gammon losses (or their threats contributing to upcoming cube actions) but the 2-pt is deep and covers aren't close to maximized. Between the other two obvious choices, I count 30/36 covers each (assuming White doesn't roll an ace). Which is likely to lead to a better bearoff structure? IDK; probably close. 9/4 might lead to a few less cubeless gammon losses but spread out checkers are usually more diverse. I'll go with that:
7/1*, 8/3.
