White appears to have enough timing for a backgame, but much of that that rests on the ability to get a back checker out. Another concern is that the second anchor hasn't been established. White might get to go forward but that doesn't seem to be a high probability scenario.

Blue's immediate attack doesn't look so scary, with the 20/36 rolls that contain a 5 or 6 looking kind of blah. OTOH, some of those remaining 16 seem particularly powerful.

The optimistic Blue sees the cracks in White's egg while the optimistic White relishes her half full glass.
