Let's look at some candidates.
23(2) -- better anchor than the 24-pt, usually. Are we ready to settle on a low anchor, though?
24/23, 11/10 -- keeps better options for an advanced anchor as well as some pressure on White's 5-pt blot (which *usually* gets covered immediately). A bit risky.
24/23, 6/5 -- similar to previous but keeps the inferior 11-pt and makes White's 33 a joker.
25/24, 6/4 -- duplicates 3's while starting the next HB point in line. Still pays off to the {31,33,36,11} (6/36 rolls) hit+cover.
25/22 -- the most aggressive play among those that try for an advanced anchor (if the 22-pt can be considered 'advanced').
Reconsidering whether/not to grab an anchor this turn, I count 31/36 White rolls that cover her 5-pt, leaving only {52,54,55}. Two of those attack Blue's 24-pt blot with 52 making the 3-pt. Thus the idea of pressuring White's 5-pt blot is almost meaningless. If Blue goes in this direction the pressure will be back in his face to anchor quickly.
So for me down to 23(2) vs. 25/24, 6/4. I'm don't want to give up completely on an advanced anchor but trying for improvement on the homefront has value, too. If Blue slots and gets hit, the 3rd checker back might help on the anchor front, if he can surive an upcoming cube... That's an impending concern, regardless of the current decision.
25/24, 6/4.
