This looks familiar. :)

Covering the 2-pt now has value, but I don't see White coming off her anchor for at least a couple rolls, so safety next turn should be considered. How much safer is the 8-pt compared to the 9-pt? 61 will leave a shot either way. 62 leaves a shot after clearing the 8-pt.

Another concern is trashing the homeboard, which happens with most 2x rolls after clearing the 8-pt. Even 1x rolls next turn mostly favor clearing the 9-pt now.

Preparing for the long(er) term, it looks like clearing the 9-pt is a bit better:

9/3, 9/6.
