After the obvious (what I think Simborg calls "effectively forced") 24/21, then 8/6 looks prettier than 6/4 but considering future rolls has to take precedence. If you're hit and roll 61 you're glad you played 6/4 here.

What I'm not sure about is when you rehit on the 21-pt, do you want to hit loose on your 3-pt (second checker up) if that's an option? Maybe not, particularly since you own the cube; IDK. That can happen different ways -- {1,3,5} single die -- depending upon your choice this turn and your full roll next turn. I'm settling for ugly:

24/21, 6/4.
