16/15* and then find a way to play the 6.

Hit+fan likely wins the game, but then it doesn't matter how the 6 is played. So assume White enters. The difference in hits between 15/9 and 10/4 is 3 (8 hits vs. 5 hits). However two other things come into focus: White's blot on her 6-pt (taking some of the sting out of getting hit) and maintaining the block by holding onto the 10-pt. Another concern is the cleanup required when missed after 10/4.

I see 8/2 as an option, also leaving five return shots and keeping the better blocking point compared to 10/4. This may be better than 10/4 although it dillies a builder while still giving up some blocking equity.

There is value keeping a deep fielder (e.g. look at White's 65 roll from the bar), but does that compensate for the loss of a blocking point?

I want that deep checker to get into building position and I want to hold the best blocking structure. I'm not taking the QF bait.

16/15*/9
