Who cares VII ?

My RoT for this situation goes like: If I make the safe play and opp then rolls 66 (or the appropriate running doublet), am I still in the lead? If 'yes' then the safe play (assuming gammon wins aren't riding on the decision) is often right. Otherwise take some risk.

So who will be leading if Blue plays safely and White rolls 66? It looks close but I think it's White, with one checker already borne off and no gaps (Blue is on roll). (Benjamin's Ultimate Racing Formula should answer this for sure....) With the (slightly) bold play, White won't be able to stay long, if at all, and doing so worsens her board for both containment and racing.
