13/5, or 13/8, 13/10, or 13/10, 6/1*? This last is certainly not my style and with only one back (and a small-moderate pipcount lead) is the tempo really worth getting a second checker sent back when the blot you hit isn't threatening?

A checker on the 10-pt is primarily a builder for the 4-pt (when you might be duplicating your own 6 anyway) and secondarily for the 9- and 10-pts, but in those cases the midpoint is stripped and might require blotting to cover. Even though White's subsequent 62 might become duplicated (63 being White's other hitting roll) I don't think the builder is sufficient enough of an asset.
