In Response To: Position of the Day 05-15-26 - Rollout OUCH! (Stick)

Robertie has some stuff in his classic Advanced Backgammon (out of print for a long time) but that was written so long ago there were no NN bots (except maybe TD-Gammon to which I don't think even he had access at the time.)

There has been a lot written in the 30+ years since that revised, 2 volume tome was released, in books and online. But has this topic been covered in reasonable thoroughness? These situations seem to come up with moderate frequency and the impact can be enormous. This problem is a perfect example of that.
