I don't think the World Team Championship (or whatever the exact title) will use PR to determine the winner.

Another problem with (emg-based) PR is that in a match, the cost of an error as far as match winning chances, is magnified at late matchscores. I don't think this is reflected in the current standard of 'PR'. Extreme Gammon *does* report errors in MWC units if asked, but that isn't the standard.

As far as Variance Reduced evaluation, I'm pretty sure you are the flag-bearer and expert on the topic, one you've frequently discussed with JLee. He and I used it one time and it looked pretty darned good. But right now it's not automated so significantly time consuming. Maybe that can be corrected with the promised (and highly funded :) upgrades to XG.
